REPORTS TO:  District Nurse & Principal                                           FSLA STATUS: Non-Exempt

 

POSITION:

Opening for (1) one Certified Nursing Assistant/EMT position.  This is a full-time (0.9), school year position at Chino Valley High School and includes benefits. The Chino Valley Unified School District is on a 4-day work week Monday through Thursday, 9 hours per day.

 

DESCRIPTION:

Primary responsibility will be to assist the District Nurse in clerical and health care services and assist.  Duties are varied and include: providing first aide to students and personnel, filing health records, completing reports, answering the phone and scheduling appointments and other duties as required.   The position also involves a wide variety of secretarial duties in support of the Principal, staff, students and community.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent with some health care experience and training preferred.  Must have a current CPR card and have completed a Red Cross First Aide course or its equivalent.  Must be able to assist with lifting objects 20-50 pounds short distances (20 feet or less).  Previous experience in an office and/or school setting and working with children experience is desired.
