EXPECTATION FOR ALL EMPLOYEES:

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The work involves the dispatching of drivers and vehicles to be used in the transportation of pupils in the School District. This position is responsible for ensuring that all School District buses are staffed with drivers following established routes and prepared time schedules. This person will be required to operate a school bus when no qualified substitute is available. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Transportation Director. Secondary is to transport students to and from designated stops while maintaining a safe environment and in accordance with the policies of CVUSD the Arizona Department of Transportation guidelines.

·         Knowledge of equipment and technology as related to specific job functions

     

WORKING CONDITIONS:

 

    Work Environment involves no physical risks or hazardous conditions

    Work environment involves slight physical risks that require basic safety precautions (safety glasses, lab coats, rubber gloves etc.)

Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following detailed safety precautions (such as wearing respirators, handling hazardous materials, and working with industrial machinery.)
