POSITION SUMMARY:
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for assisting students with a variety of behavioral or special education needs during transport to and from school and/or special activities.
- Monitor student safety.
- Help bus evacuations during emergencies.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children.
- Child supervision skills.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have or be able to obtain an Arizona (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
