Seeking one (1) full-time Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. This is full-time position with benefits. The Chino Valley Unified School District is on a 4 –day work week Monday through Thursday.

POSITION SUMMARY:
- The School Psychologist uses supported strategies to design, implement, and evaluate effective policies and practice that promote home, school, and community partnerships and enhance learning and mental health goals for students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support board policy, school guidelines, administrative rules and directives.
- Screen and evaluate referred students including selecting appropriate instruments, administering tests, observations and writing reports which state the evaluation findings and provide educational program recommendations.
- Maintain confidentiality with student records and information. In addition, use technology in ways that are consistent with ethical and responsible professional practice.
- Prepare and submit required reports with in the state/federal-mandated timelines.
- Adheres to state/school guidelines for evaluations, reporting and determining eligibility for special education.
- Serves as a resource person concerning learning disabilities for teachers and other school personnel.
- Works collaboratively with administrators, teachers and parents during referral/evaluation process.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona School Psychologist Certificate with all appropriate endorsements.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Masters degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
